Tractor Supply: Q2 Earnings Snapshot

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Tractor Supply Co. (TSCO) on Thursday reported second-quarter earnings of $425.2 million.

The Brentwood, Tennessee-based company said it had profit of $3.93 per share.

The results missed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of 13 analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $3.94 per share.

The retailer for farmers and ranchers posted revenue of $4.25 billion in the period, which also fell short of Street forecasts. Ten analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $4.28 billion.

Tractor Supply expects full-year earnings to be $10 to $10.40 per share, with revenue in the range of $14.8 billion to $15 billion.
